I'm real bored right now...

It's 10 p.m. in Show Low, Arizona and the town is dead.

What's Show Low? It's a really beautiful town in the Arizona mountains that's apparently named after a hand in a card game.

Don't believe me?

Look...

They'll make a statue for anything these days.

The highlight of my Friday night was a visit to Woody's Laundry and the Friday night fish fry at a place called JB's.

Upstairs from the restaurant is a sports bar.

I investigated the place and found myself subjected to the "record scratch" scene you only see in movies.

Why? Well, for one thing I've decided to start incorporating a sports jacket in my everyday wear; a phase I'm sure.

I already think I look too much like Zulu from Hawaii Five-O...

Anyway, I walk in and it's Fred Durst night at the sports bar.

40 to 50 something, extremely pissed Fred Durst night to be exact.

Couldn't tell you what the women looked like because I didn't see any through the smoke, neon and general funk hanging in the air of places that have Metallica's RIDE THE LIGTHNING available in it's jukebox.

Had there been any ladies I might've stuck around.

Then again, catching Deadwood in my hotel room sounds pretty good...
