The Karen are an ethnic group within Myanmar/Burma that have been fighting against the military government for many years.

No one cares about them -- unless perhaps they discover oil or some other strategic mineral on their ancestral lands -- and there is little media interest in them.

Unless a white man is there to play Rambo.
